Welcome to Islamic Society of Belconnen
Islamic Society Belconnen promotes the teachings of the religion of Islam and facilitates the acquisition of Islamic knowledge among Muslims through the medium of the Holy Qur’an and the teachings and traditions of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Islamic Society Belconnen also provides an organization for channeling resources for charitable and humanitarian needs of communities, both locally and abroad.
Islamic Society Belconnen fosters and promotes good family relations in an effort to create a greater understanding of the welfare and wellbeing of its members in particular, and the community in general.
Islamic Society Belconnen facilitates collaboration between faith-based organizations, the government, and the business sector in addressing areas of community concern according to the Qur’an and Sunnah.
And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination.
